This course presents the opportunity to get to know the people you work with better and rediscover your enthusiasm for doing what you do.
Is your job something you hide behind?
Is your role description something you have to squeeze yourself into?
Or, is your work a means by which you can more fully be who you are in the world?
Extensive research would suggest that too much anxiety impairs working performance. Stress has been identified as a major factor in work related illnesses. What can we do to build more healthy and supportive working environments and relationships?
This one day interactive training is designed to encourage participants to recognise and celebrate their unique individual gifts and to rediscover sources of enthusiasm and spontaneity.
We will explore a model of working practice which encourages relaxation, confidence and communication and identify regularly reported obstacles to establishing and maintaining such practice.
A good team will know the strengths and weaknesses of its constituent players. It will share a sense of value and purpose. Participants will learn how to communicate more effectively so that they can understand each other better, challenge with confidence and without judgement and play to each other's strengths.
Through key texts/handouts, group exercises and reflection participants will be encouraged to unsquash their personal potential for communication, affirm the right to celebrate their own contribution and develop the capacity to acknowledge and respect the contributions of others.
You will need to bring an open disposition, a sense of humour and comfortable clothing.
£500 for groups of up to 20 people.
We intend to run a number of open courses throughout the year at various locations across the U.K. If you would be interested in attending, please contact us.
